No matter what you prefer to be called, Mother's Day is a special time to stop and appreciate the strong women in our lives who we call on in times of need, times of growth and times of happiness. Many of us are lifelong students of motherhood because just when we think we have everything under control, the weather gets crazy and schools close, so you find yourself rocking a toddler between customers coming into your store.
Wait....just us? Surely not.
Next up in our "Moms that Make it Happen" series is Victoria Haddad - a Baton Rouge native raising her daughter, Payton (6 years), and two step daughters - Natalie (12 years) and Allison (Alli) (12years) in Prairieville. Victoria graduated from LSU in Finance. She is a realtor with RE/MAX Plus and a longtime friend of both Annie Claire and Chelsey - we used to party in Tigerland together!
We sat down with Victoria recently to get her thoughts on motherhood and how she makes it all happen.

WHAT’S A FAVORITE MEMORY YOU’VE HAD YOUR GIRLS THAT YOU’D RECOMMEND TO OTHER MOMS?
For Thanksgiving (my favorite holiday) the girls help me cook! They set the table with fancy china and silver. They love decorating the tables and serving everyone. I hope this is a tradition we continue for the rest of their lives. Teaching them to serve others and be hospitable is something I pray they always remember.
IF YOU HAD ONE SINGLE TIP/PIECE OF ENCOURAGEMENT YOU COULD GIVE A NEW MOM, WHAT WOULD IT BE?
It’s ok to feel stressed or overwhelmed. Take a time out (preferably with wine). Enjoy every single moment and take all the pictures and videos of the crazy, sweet, bad and wonderful things your babies do!

Nearly everyday this is what you will find me in! I love heels but after back surgery, wedges are my friend! Jeans - dark, light, white, skinny, flare - I love them all!
