Thank you for a MERRY Christmas Season

A Christmas message from Annie Claire...
Looking back on the day we decided to shut down the store in March, I remember being so confused. In fact, I posted a raw video talking about how I don’t know what’s happening but I do know that we will be ok and come back stronger.
It was an extremely tough decision because technically we weren’t required to shut down. We knew that in our hearts it was the right thing to do and so we closed. For two months. Doors closed with no idea what the heck was going to happen to our sweet SoSis.
Honestly, if there were ever a time to get out of running a small business it was then. But Chel and I aren’t quitters and we had to figure out quickly how to adapt, get creative and still bring JOY to our customers. I know that 2021 isn’t just going to magically be better than 2020, but I believe in my heart that we will all be ok and 2020 will be a year that we will always cherish.
This message is for all of our customers, supporters, family members, friends, our amazing staff, the UPS drivers for being so kind when delivering our packages down to the the post office employees for the hard work they put in day in and day out for all small businesses who are shipping way more packages than usual.
Y’ALL have stuck by us. Y’ALL are the reason we still exist. Y’ALL are what’s motivating us to keep going. Trust me when I say that we could not go on without you. So, THANK YOU from the bottom of my heart, for making my little dream come true. Big virtual hugs to all of you!
❤️ xx, AC
A Christmas message from Chelsey...
2020 — you’ve been a doozy. If you’ve taught me anything, it’s that control is an illusion. As a person who loves a plan and thrives in a busy, yet thoughtfully coordinated life, 2020 has thrown every plan out the window (over and over again).
It has proven to me that in many ways, we are not in control at all. He is. A person’s ability to still plan, then, when necessary, adapt with grace is sometimes their biggest attribute. I pray for grace every day.
But our customers — you’ve reminded us (over and over again) just how much we have to be thankful for. As we all gear up for what I hope is a relaxing (and screen free) Christmas, I’m so very thankful for SOME not-so-bad parts of 2020 — a major one being the continued success of my first baby, SoSis. For that, I have YOU to thank.
Merry Christmas. Let’s bring hugs back in 2021, K?
LYLAS,
Chel
