30. How did I get here so fast?

I have to admit, I'm 100% ok with the big 3-0. My grandmother always said "age is just a number" and she would regularly tell us how old she felt on any given day. 

Well, today I feel 30 and it feels great! 

Lately, during what feels like hours upon hours spent rocking my two month old, I've been thinking - how in the WORLD would I be able to do this thing called life without the people that surround me? 

How would I be able to keep SoSis going without my amazing sister who has handled all day-to-day store management? She has managed everything with such grace and has truly let me enjoy this fleeting time with my daughter.

How would I be able to keep up with my consulting business and on retainer clients without my husband? He's adjusted his work schedule to give me some time away from the house to catch up on client work. Sundays are my new Tuesday :) 

How would I have survived my first week home with Charlie Jo without my mom? 

How would I have managed to spend all day at a SoSis retreat without my mother-in-law driving three hours just to spend the day with my girl.

How would I have survived without all the hearts (cousins, aunts, friends) that have come to love on Charlie Jo, offer me advice, brought dinner, rocked, prayed, and all around loved me? 

I wouldn't have. 

What would we do without our tribe?
Our people. 
Our family. 
Our friends. 

No matter what your tribe looks like, hold them close, thank them often and pray that God continues to bless you with his abundant love.
