Celebrating Great Futures

This Saturday night, something I've been working on for many (many) months finally came to fruition. The Boys & Girls Club of Greater Baton Rouge hosted the inaugural Great Futures Gala - a night honoring young professionals in the Baton Rouge area. 

Celebrating its inaugural year, the Great Futures Gala honors a select group of outstanding young professionals in the Greater Baton Rouge Area. Selected by some of the most prestigious professionals in our area, this class of 15 Great Futures Gala Honorees will represent movers and shakers in our community. Great Futures Gala Honorees are young men and women who are on a path to achieving a great future all while giving back and making the world a better place.

I am proud to have chaired this great event and been a part of raising money for the Boys & Girls Club. Although it rained (heavily), we made it through and overall had a great night. 

Before the event, Annie Claire researched new items to ensure we could both wear SoSis at the event - even though it was a formal event. Here we are before the rain started. Details and links to both of our looks are included below.  

One big part of the event was a silent auction featuring many gifts from many small businesses. We were proud to be included in the "Boutique Package alongside Simply Chic Baton Rouge and Rodéo.
