Meet Our Girl: Allison Ewing
Eccentric, funny, beautiful and sweet are just a few words to describe Allison Ewing, one of the beauties behind our most recent lookbook,“Fireside Celebration.” One of the first things we noticed about her was her 318 area code! We had so much fun working with this small town girl from North Louisiana and want you to get to know a few fun facts about her too! So, sistas, meet Allison Ewing. Allison, meet our sistas!

Q: Where are you from?
AE: I grew up in Ruston Louisiana - a cute small town in North Louisiana. But now I go to school at Louisiana State University (LSU), where I have been living in Baton Rouge for the past four years.
Q: What are you studying in school?
AE: I am a public relations senior this year in LSU’s Manship School of Mass Communication.
Q: What is your favorite holiday tradition?
AE: I love being with the family over the holidays. Also, I love my Poppa’s tree. He always has an old fashion pine tree for Christmas decorated in tinsel.
Q: What is one thing you are most excited for in 2016?
AE: Well, I will be graduating and will have to decide where I will be moving away to - I'm thinking either California, Texas or Colorado. The move will be exciting and starting the next chapter in life is going to be fun (and scary).
Q: Your favorite song of 2015?
AE: This is a really hard question for me! I'm a music enthusiast. Saint Motel has a fun song that is featured on the Paper Towns soundtrack titled “My Type.” It just has a fun sound that I can’t sit still to.
Q: What is one New Year’s resolution you hope to stick to?
AE: For a while now, I have wanted to learn to play an instrument. I have a ukulele that I enjoy messing around with. I just have not taken the time to actually learn any songs on it. So I plan to learn the ukulele in 2016.
Q: What is your favorite look from the lookbook, Fireside Celebration?
AE: Well first off I just would like to say how much fun I had and how great it was to get to work with SoSis! My favorite look would have to be, the Good Days Ahead Dress!
