Throw Me Somethin' Mister! - Mardi Gras Wear pt. 1
There's never a dull time in Louisiana. If you think all of the fun is over after Christmas and New Years, think again.
Mardi Gras season is upon us and that just means lots of parties, crazy good food, fun parades and CC's King Cake latte' (ah, I die). One thing I love most about this fun season is seeing the MANY different styles parade goers put together to catch lots of beads. From elaborate costumes to fun tees, anything goes during Mardi Gras season.
Most stick to purple, green and gold (myself included). But because I am kind of obsessed with this new SoSis sweater, I figured I'd commemorate the Spanish Town parade in Baton Rouge, LA (a parade known for wearing lots and lots of pink) and pair my new favorite sweater with our floral leather shorts (on sale for $34). Whatcha think? Good bead catchin' attire or what? What's your preferred Mardi Gras wear?
