Meet our Girl: Devin Boyd
Devin Boyd is representing our great city as Miss Baton Rouge. Since the first time we met her, we’ve noticed her poise and a kind heart. She is always willing to lend a helping hand to SoSis and we love the shout-outs we get on Instagram and Facebook! We have truly enjoyed working with Devin and sponsoring some of her outfits in her Miss Louisiana USA journey. Did we mention she won swimsuit competition in Miss Louisiana USA 2016?

Q: Where are you from?
DB: I was born and raised right here in Baton Rouge!
Q:What did you graduate in?
DB: I graduated in Mass Communication with a minor in Business from Louisiana State University! Geaux Tigers!
Q:Your favorite song right now?
DB: My favorite song right now would have to be “Stay a Little Longer” by Brothers Osborne. I can’t wait for Bayou Country Super Fest! I’m sure I will have a great outfit to wear from SoSis!
Q: What is your guilty pleasure?
DB: That’s easy – Icees!!! =) yum! My favorite treat, and cheat when I’m dieting!
Q: What would you do if you weren’t afraid?
DB: If I weren’t afraid, I would take one year out of my life and travel! All over the world! If I weren’t afraid AND also if I could fund it. I would do it in a heartbeat!
Q: What is your favorite feature?
DB: Favorite feature on myself? That’s a tough one. I like my hair. I’ve been growing it out and taking great care of it and love how long and healthy it is getting. No more need for extensions.
Q: What did you want to be when you were a young girl?
DB: That changed about weekly, but what I remember wanting to be a marine biologist for a long time. I loved Sea World and was fascinated with the sea lions and dolphins!
